And yes, TORBAY is more than a name. It’s a blend of my kids’ names, Toren and Baylor. I built this company with the same values I want to pass on to them: integrity, hard work, and the belief that strong relationships drive lasting results. Most businesses don’t stall because they lack ideas. They stall because leadership, structure, and operations drift apart. That’s the gap I love closing.


At TORBAY, I don’t hand you a binder and wish you luck. I work inside your business, shoulder to shoulder. Sometimes that means reshaping strategy. Sometimes it’s coaching leaders. And sometimes it’s simply fixing how teams talk to each other so things actually get done.


The name TORBAY started as a nod to family and what grounds me. Only later did I learn it is also a city in England. For me, it is a reminder that relationships matter more than outcomes. If you don’t have relationships, the work isn’t worth doing. So start strong and do it right from the beginning.


When I’m not with clients, you’ll probably find me repairing a small engine, tackling a home project that sounded easier in theory, or out on the water with my family. I love to golf, fish, and tend the smoker with persistence, sometimes with perfection, and always with a sense of humor.


Outside of work, giving back matters just as much. I support Ruff Start Rescue, Feed My Starving Children, and mentor students in the Minnetonka High School VANTAGE Program. Because building great businesses always starts with building great people.
